The Wuppertal Institute (WI) is a leading think tank on sustainable development in Europe. It has been providing policy and technical advice on energy efficiency in buildings and SCP to German government and European Commission for a long time and has worked on building and urban development projects in China in the last decade. 

Partner Organizations

 

The University of Civil Engineering and Architecture of Beijing (BUCEA) is a leading university in the fields of civil engineering and buildings. It has more than 75 years of experience in implementing and managing local, national and international building and infrastructure projects and established a huge network in the field of urban environmental infrastructure and building.

 

 

China Association of Building Energy Efficiency (CABEE) is working under the responsibility of Ministry of Housing and Urban & Rural Development (MoHURD) with more than 5000 members covering the whole building  supply chain and extensive network with other key stakeholders. It is also a think tank of MoHURD.  

Chongqing Association of Building Energy Efficiency (CQBEEA), working under the responsibility of        Chongqing Municipal Department of Housing and Urban & Rural Development, is a local network facility of low energy building development with more than 400 members covering the whole building supply chain and extensive network with local stakeholders. CQBEEA’s main activities include capacity building, networking, dissemination of innovations, policy recommendations in the field of promoting sustainable building development at local levels. It is also a think tank for local building authority on development of sustainable building policies. 

 

Chongqing Economic Promotional Centre for Building Material Industry (CEPCBM) works under Chongqing Municipal Industrial and Information Technology Development Commission. Its main tasks include      supporting the formulation and implementation of building materials as well as improving the capacity of building   materials producers and retailers in Chongqing. 

Yunnan Development Centre for Building Technology (YNBTDC), working directly under Yunnan Provincial Department of Housing and Urban & Rural development, is a public institute which promotes and disseminates innovative and    sustainable building technologies and practices in Yunnan Province. It is also the provincial network facility of building supply chain in Yunnan Province. 

Yunnan Provincial Engineering Quality   Supervision and Management Station(YNEQS) is a public institute. Its core work includes supervising building quality, monitoring building energy performance and providing information to various stakeholders in the building sector, issuing certification for green buildings on behalf of Yunnan Provincial Department of Housing and Urban & Rural Development (YNHURD), and managing provincial green building funds and building energy efficiency funds.

 

 

Bank of Chongqing (BOCQ) is a regional bank, which is active particularly in western China and has regional branch-banks almost in all provinces of China. Its core business of BOCQ is supporting SMEs to access to financing.
