SusBuild roadshow for sharing lessons learned

On the 31st of May, SusBuild held a session at the Annual Assembling of Building Energy Efficiency Association in Chengdu. Representatives from associations, research and design institutes, and think-tanks from more than 30 provinces and cities participated in the session. more..

Financing Sustainable Buildings in China

The Wuppertal Institute hosted the Forum of Financing Sustainable Buildings within the framework of EU Switch-Asia SusBuild project on 15th Nov. 2018 in Chongqing (China), in collaboration with  CABEE, the Sino-German Urbanisation Partnership, and two SusBuild local partners. This Forum gathered about 80 participants from the building sector and financial institutions in China as well as European and international organisations, to discuss how green financing can support sustainable building development in China in the future. more..

SusBuild-"Up-Scaling and Mainstreaming Sustainable Building Practices in Western China”, a project of the Wuppertal Institute, financed by EU Switch-Asia II programme, aims at fostering sustainable building practices among small and large enterprises in Chongqing City and the province of Yunnan. Project coordinators and partners have now met on the 5th June, within the “SusBuild EU-China Dialogue on Sustainable Building Technologies” in Xi´an, Shaanxi province in Western China. more..

Western China Sustainable Building Alliance (WCSBA) was kicked off

Western China Sustainable Building Alliance (WCSBA) was established with the leadearship of China Association of Building Energy Efficiency (CABEE). The Alliance was formed and kicked-off in August 2017, in Chengdu. 15 SMEs, research institutes, associations, governmental think tanks from four western Chinese provinces (Chongqing, Yunnan, Sichuan, Tibet) are among the first members of WCSBA. more...

Good practice tour to Europe

In September 2017, SusBuild hosted a good practice tour for local stakeholders and partners to Europe.
